Overview
The side-by-side view is used to compare images of the same area taken at different times. This is useful to see how an area has changed over long periods of time or the before and after of a particular event.
Use the Side-by-Side View
- Select an image from the scene results on the right panel.
- Click on the Side-by-Side
button. You will notice the slider appear in the middle of the map.
- Select another image from the search results on the right panel. The first image you selected will be on the left side of the side-by-side view and the second image will be on the right side of the side-by-side view.
- Click on the
button to toggle image info displays on the map.
Changing Images in Side-by-Side View
If you wish to change the images, continue clicking on the search results on the right panel. Each new image is added to the right side and the image formerly on the right side, will shift to the left side.
